The next battle to defend religious liberty, life or families is always lurking, so don’t wait to do your part.
Sometimes the battles fought by Palmetto Family can feel a little lonely, especially during the summer months. Every now and then, though, something or someone will encourage us to continue working hard to make South Carolina a place where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive and life is cherished.
Several weeks ago, we received a letter from one such person. Mrs. Jones (we’ve substituted her real name to protect her privacy) wrote the following:
“Dear Friends at Palmetto Family,
Your work is such a blessing to S.C.! I’m a 96-year-old minister’s widow – and am just back home from the hospital. That’s why I’m sending you a check for 4 months instead of 1 month as usual.
My prayers are with you.”
Wow. We were floored by Mrs. Jones loyalty and touched by her effort to support our work. We sweat every day to make South Carolina better for people like Mrs. Jones, her children and her grandchildren. With her help and yours, we will continue our efforts in the future.
Since Palmetto Family is the only organization in South Carolina dedicated to fighting for biblical values on the full range of issues effecting the family, we think every Christian in South Carolina should join our cause. The next battle to defend religious liberty, life or families is always lurking, so don’t wait to do your part.
Will you please consider following in the footsteps of Mrs. Jones and supporting our all-important work?
