Joshua Putnam

The Honorable Joshua Putnam is a former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. Joshua served for four terms in the General Assembly before joining Palmetto Family as the organization’s fourth President since its creation in 1994. He served as the Chairman of multiple sub-committees and was recognized nationally as an emerging leader within state governments. As one of the state’s youngest-ever elected officials, Joshua led on many important legislative reforms, which helped strengthen the family unit. The state’s foster care system, along with fraternity hazing laws saw historic transformations under his leadership.

Joshua attended North Greenville University where he received a B.S. in Marketing and minor in Business Administration. He married his love, Holly Moyers, in the fall of 2013. They enjoy raising their three young children Asher, Abram and Anniston in Powdersville, SC. He is passionate about impacting the lives of others through government, and his paramount priority is serving his Lord and Savior. The Putnam’s attend Grace Church in Powdersville.

Kevin Caiello

Director of Operations
Kevin is a US Navy veteran and graduate of Columbia International University where he received his B.S. in Bible and M.A. in Intercultural Studies.

He joined the staff of Palmetto Family in 1994 as the first full-time employee, and other than a 4 year break to work in a teen abstinence ministry, has worked for Palmetto Family ever since. His areas of responsibility include fundraising, administration and technology.

Kevin resides in Lexington with his wife of 30 years. He has three sons (two newly married and one in college) and is a member of Hope Church Columbia where he has served in International Student Ministry, Youth Ministry, Singles Ministry, Refugee Ministry and as a home group leader.

Erik Corcoran

Director of Coalitions
A native of Tipperary, Ireland, Erik Corcoran immigrated with his family to California when he was 8 years old. In the summer of 2016, he completed an 18-year journey through the immigration system and was “adopted” by the United States as a citizen. He calls it “the proudest moment of his life.”

Erik has served on staffs of three national campaigns and has worked on Capitol Hill in Washington. Most recently, he served as the Faith Director for a prominent presidential campaign in 5 states.

Erik is a passionate believer in the importance of faith integration in the political realm. Like Nehemiah, he believes we must pray and act out our faith in every area of society. Erik believes that God has brought us together for such a time as this in South Carolina.
