From July 10th – 12th, over 100 Nehemiah Network pastors will travel to our nation’s capital to meet with South Carolina’s Congressional Delegation and pray personally with them.
In 2016, Palmetto Family began an initiative that has forever transformed the relationship between pastors and lawmakers in South Carolina.
The Nehemiah Network is a South Carolina-based coalition composed exclusively of Palmetto State pastors and faith leaders. The Network’s desire is to be a catalyst for a fellowship of church leaders that will: Obey the tenets of 2 Chronicles 7:14 together, work in communities together to engage the culture and meet spiritual and temporal needs and earn influence with elected officials together in defense of Judeo-Christian values.
In just three short years, the Nehemiah Network has grown to become the largest state-based pastor coalition in America. With over 400 hundred members from 15 different denominations, the Network has developed into a real difference-maker for good in our state.
As the Network has grown, so too has its reach, purpose and events. We’ve met with Congressman Ralph Norman, we’ve met with Governor Henry McMaster at the Governor’s Mansion and each year we hold Pastor’s Day at the Statehouse.
But none of those events compare to the scale and impact our next event.
From July 10th – 12th, over 100 Nehemiah Network pastors will travel to our nation’s capital to meet with South Carolina’s Congressional Delegation and pray personally with and for them. In addition to spiritually encouraging South Carolina’s federal leaders, the pastors will enjoy a private tour of the Museum of the Bible, the Capitol building and the White House.
Not wanting finances to become a hurdle for any pastor to attend, Palmetto Family steeply discounted the registration rate. Thankfully, our efforts paid off as the trip is now full and a waiting list even had to be created because of the demand.
We are beyond excited to provide this unique opportunity to South Carolina pastors and pray that it will facilitate positive new relationships between our state’s faith leaders and our political leaders.
With this trip in mind, I have two requests of you.
First, will you please pray for this trip? Pray that God will give us safety. Pray that God will work out all the details. Pray that our pastors will have a powerful impact on everyone they come in contact with.
The second request is equally as important. A consequence of providing such a discounted rate is that Palmetto Family has taken on the financial burden to pay for the trip’s expenses that remain uncovered by the registration costs. Will you please consider supporting this trip financially?
Palmetto Family is the only organization uniting pastors for the purpose of making South Carolina a better place to live and raise a family. The Nehemiah Network trip to Washington D.C. is just another example of how great things can be accomplished for faith and family through our efforts.
Will you help make this trip a success?
