BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Stephen is a native of Charleston but has been living in Columbia since 1982. He is a self-employed compensation, tax and financial consultant. He and his wife, Pam, are active members of First Baptist Church of Columbia, where Stephen serves as a deacon.
Reese Boyd III is an attorney and partner with of Davis & Boyd, LLC, located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Boyd is a native of Conway and a graduate of Conway High School. He also graduated from Davidson College with a degree in economics, and later from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is active in community and church activities, and his family and he are members of First Baptist Church, Murrells Inlet.
Chad Connelly graduated from Clemson University with a BS degree in Civil Engineering, and served as an Armor officer in the US Army and the SC National Guard before starting his own business. He is a business owner, author and speaker and was twice-elected as the Chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party. He currently serves as the Republican National Committee’s First-ever National Director of Faith Engagement traveling the nation speaking on the importance of pastoral leadership in the public arena. Chad is active in his church and community and he and his wife Dana live in Prosperity with their four children.
Martin is the managing shareholder of Sweeny, Wingate & Barrow’s Pee Dee Region office in Hartsville, South Carolina. Martin is a graduate of Clemson University and the University of South Carolina School of Law. Martin was served as President of the Student Body at Clemson and as the Managing Editor of the SOUTH CAROLINA LAW REVIEW where he authored two published notes. He is married to Karen and is the proud father of five children.
Dr. Mills is a South Carolina Christian education leader, serving as President of the South Carolina Association of Christian schools. He has assisted about a dozen churches on the East Coast in starting Christian schools. Dr. Mills holds a B.A. from Southern Wesleyan University, a B.S.L. from Holmes Theological Seminary, a M.R.E. from Heritage Graduate School and a Ph.D., from Andersonville Baptist Seminary.
Colonel Witte has been the CEO for The Coastal Educational Foundation (CEF) since January 2011. Stovall has had a diverse career including over twenty years as an Infantry Officer in the US Army; six years in senior staff positions in the US House of Representatives; and almost seven years as Vice President for Advancement and Marketing at Charleston Southern University. Stovall has been married to Jan since finishing college, and they have three children
