Representative Jay Jordan was first elected to the statehouse in 2015 and represents district 63 in Florence. He serves on both the House Judiciary and Rules committees.

Representative Jordan attended the College of Charleston and holds a law degree from the Charleston School of Law.

He, his wife and their three children attend Florence Baptist Temple where he serves as a deacon and Sunday School teacher.
